If you think you’ve seen all that burlesque has to offer, you haven’t seen Bippy’s Burlesque-o-Rama. Bippy’s Burlesque-o-Rama embraces the concepts of fun and experimentation, leading to a sort of controlled chaos. Bippy’s Burlesque-o-Rama was created by performers who have worked in many shows across the Twin Cities, including Pouty Petals, Luna Rouge, and Barbara Gordon. Originally working together as cast members for the now defunct Abbie Rhode’s Psychedelic Spectacle, the producers wanted to keep the lighter, try-anything-at-least-once mentality provided by that show.

Two ongoing live-music performance tracks at Patrick’s Cabaret are: our Singer/Songwriter Series and Eclectic Electric Music Series. The Singer/Songwriter Series features a solid mix of talented, emerging, and established artists, and the Eclectic Electric Music Series features a wide variety of styles and genres from local, regional, and national touring artists.

PERFORMER BIOS:
Renée Copeland has been writing songs for 8 years. The themes she explores are often both personal and political, colored with dark undertones yet hopeful refrains. She is excited to be co-writing songs with Kalen Rainbow Keir in their recently-formed band, Love Nocturnal. When Renée is not making music, you can find her dancing with local companies Ananya Dance Theatre and Hiponymous.
Venus DeMars has been a staple of the underground music scene both here in Minneapolis and around the globe for nearly two decades. Forming the band All The Pretty Horses in 1994, Venus combined elements of punk, goth and glam to create a truly unique sound.
Matthew Fox is a guitarist and songwriter whose Georgia and Texas roots run deep. He has steeped himself in a variety of styles from acoustic blues to swing and his acclaimed originals are rooted in the great Texas story-song tradition. Matthew has appeared on stages, radio programs and at workshops throughout the US, United Kingdom and Scandinavia and is a proud endorser of Big Hollow Guitars, Diamond Bottlenecks and Elixir Strings.
Bill Geezy: Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, and Piano
From his days performing on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion as a member of Stoney Lonesome Bluegrass Band to the present, Bill has been compiling a large catalogue of his handcrafted, American, countrified, folk-rock songs. On the Hoffman guitar that his mother bought him for a high school graduation present Bill has penned songs that have become the stuff that dreams are made of.

Nic Lincoln instinctually uses his charismatic and gutsy nature to craft an evening of glossy and dynamic dances. Creatures inhabit a distinct yet ambiguous world, transcending an evening of works which are quirky, haunting and evocative. This evening of work will feature dance artists Mary Ann Bradley, Eve Schulte and Kelly Vittetoe 20% of ticket sales will be donated to OutFront MN.
