On Monday, the rotunda at the Minnesota State Capitol building was packed with young people eager to see the Safe and Supportive Schools Act passed into law this legislative session.

The bill would strengthen Minnesota’s anti-bullying law which currently stands at just 37 words — one of the weakest in the nation. Youth from schools around the state, representatives from civil organizations, and politicians showed up to show their support for the bill.
